Why Indian founders choose ADGM
ADGM gives Indian businesses a base in the Gulf under English common law, with access to UAE banking, a large Indian business community and direct flights from most Indian cities.
The India side
Indian residents and Indian companies investing in an overseas company must follow India's overseas investment rules under FEMA. In practice this is handled through your authorised dealer bank, with reporting forms filed for the investment. Speak to your chartered accountant before you transfer funds: the route depends on whether the shareholder is an individual or a company.
If the company will be managed from India, ask your adviser about place of effective management, which can affect where the company is taxed.
The ADGM side

- We file with ADGM's Registration Authority and answer every query.
- After the licence: establishment card, visas, UAE corporate tax registration and bank introductions.
What it costs
